EZ-035 Lightning Saix

The EZ-035 Lightning Saix is a Cheetah-type Zoid of the Guylos Empire, built to arrive at 325 km/h, strike and leave before the reply.

What it does in the story

In Guardian Force, Irvine has his destroyed Command Wolf's combat data moved into a prototype Saix and flies it against Raven's Geno Breaker.

What makes it different

  • Rifles fixed forward. Both Pulse Laser Rifles fire only ahead, so head vulcans cover the flanks.
  • Stabilisers press it down. Wing and vertical stabilisers cut lift so the full kick reaches the ground.
  • No armour allowance. A 65 t frame with retractable Strike Laser Claws and a booster pack.

How big is it?

  • Height and mass: 8.8 m tall, 18.4 m long, 65 t, 325 km/h.
  • Weapons: two Pulse Laser Rifles, four Strike Laser Claws.

What this collection covers

Four kits: the Highend Master Model 1/72 Marking Plus Ver., the Irvine Special with extra armour and two pilots, the 2000 recolor, plus RMZ-023 at 1/100.
