Denji

Denji is the lead of Tatsuki Fujimoto's Chainsaw Man. He works as a Devil Hunter to clear a debt he inherited, and after his devil-dog Pochita becomes his heart he can pull the cord in his chest and turn into Chainsaw Man, a form with a chainsaw growing out of his head and more of them running along his arms.

What makes Denji stand out

• Two bodies, one character. Releases split between human Denji in a shirt and tie and the Chainsaw Man form. The jointed lines favour the second, because the head and the blades give a pose somewhere to go.
• The cord is the switch. The transformation is triggered from a cord in his chest. That one detail marks the character on every version, and a cord necklace is also sold on its own in this collection.
• Pochita travels with him. The small devil shows up beside Denji in the Nendoroid, in the SEGA figure and across several of the plush and mascot sets.
• Street clothes, no armour. The human design is a white shirt, a loosened tie and trainers. The fixed statues read as a portrait of an ordinary teenager, which is the point of the character.
