Dark Magician

The Dark Magician is Yugi Muto's signature monster in Kazuki Takahashi's Yu-Gi-Oh!, played in the manga in 1997 and in print since the Japanese card game launched in 1999. He is a Level 7 DARK Spellcaster with 2500 ATK and 2100 DEF.

What makes Dark Magician stand out

• A benchmark stat line. His 2500 ATK set the number later series' ace cards were built to, from Elemental HERO Neos to Stardust Dragon.
• Two colour schemes. The manga gives him blue skin, white hair and a dark blue robe; the anime uses pink skin, purple hair and a purple-and-blue robe, so paint jobs follow the source.
• The silhouette holds. Tall pointed hat, layered robe and the staff he casts through; only the pose and the effects change between releases.
• Not only Dark Magician. Dark Magician Girl is her own card and Dark Magician of Chaos a different monster; both are here, and each listing names which one you get.

What this collection covers

Six of the twelve listings are Dark Magician himself: two ART WORKS MONSTERS statues, two MEGATOON figures (one with Slifer the Sky Dragon), a MONSTERS CHRONICLE statue and an articulated S.H.MonsterArts. The rest are Dark Magician Girl, Dark Magician of Chaos and a LookUp pair with Yami Yugi.
