Chisato Nishikigi

Chisato Nishikigi is one of the two leads of Lycoris Recoil, the 2022 anime created by Spider Lily and Asaura and animated at A-1 Pictures. She is a Lycoris, one of the covert operatives who handle threats off the books, and she works her cover job as a waitress at the LycoReco café. Her partner is Takina Inoue, and the series turns on how differently the two approach the same work.

What makes Chisato Nishikigi stand out

• Bullets read rather than blocked Chisato watches where a shot is going and steps out of the line of fire at close range. The series builds its action scenes around that ability, so her figures tend to be caught mid-sidestep with the torso twisted and the gun low.
• Non-lethal on purpose She loads rubber rounds and will not kill, which puts her against what the organisation expects from a Lycoris. It is the choice the story keeps testing rather than a detail of kit.
• Two lives in one design The café uniform and the red hair ribbon are as much her silhouette as the pistol. Because the series gives her both a work life and an off-duty one, releases range from service outfits to casual wear to formal versions such as the Hawaii and wedding dress pieces.
• Made to be paired Chisato and Takina are released in matching styles across several lines, so the pair can be displayed as a set even when the figures are sold separately, with poses designed to face each other.
