Chino Kafuu

Chino Kafuu is the youngest girl on staff at the Rabbit House cafe in Is the Order a Rabbit?, Koi's four-panel manga running in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Max since 2011. She is the founder's granddaughter, and she is introduced as a quiet, soft-spoken 13-year-old.

What makes Chino Kafuu stand out

• The rabbit on her head. Tippy, the cafe's angora mascot, usually sits on Chino's head and carries the spirit of her grandfather. Chino knows, and passes his voice off as her own ventriloquism.
• Raised among adults. Having grown up mostly around older people, she speaks formally and finds it hard to be casual. Cocoa moving in is what slowly loosens that.
• Her mother's uniforms. Chino's late mother designed the Rabbit House uniform, hoping her daughter would work there with friends one day, which is why most outfits here are that uniform.
• Named after a cappuccino. Most characters take their names from drinks or food, and hers comes from cappuccino.
