Cagalli Yula Athha

Cagalli Yula Athha is a character from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM, the 2024 film in the Cosmic Era line, and was introduced in the 2002 series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. She is a Natural, the adopted daughter of Orb Union's chief representative Uzumi Nara Athha, and she ends up leading Orb.

What makes Cagalli Yula Athha stand out

• A princess who fights first. She is met on the Heliopolis colony and is already in the field with the Desert Dawn resistance before she admits who she is.
• Strike Rouge, then Akatsuki. She starts out flying a Skygrasper, pilots the MBF-02 Strike Rouge during the first war, and later takes the ORB-01 Akatsuki into battle.
• Kira's twin. A photograph her father gives her reveals that she and Kira Yamato are twins, a fact neither knew until the war had already divided them.
• Orb's commander in chief. By C.E. 75 she holds Orb's supreme command, which puts her on the political side of a war fought in mobile suits.
