Broly

Broly is a Saiyan mutant and the son of Paragus, presented in Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super as the once-in-a-millennium Saiyan warrior. He arrived in the Dragon Ball Z films in the 1990s and returned years later with a new design and history; both appear here, and the series in each product title marks which one it is.

What makes Broly stand out

• Two characters, not two costumes The Dragon Ball Z Broly and the Dragon Ball Super Broly are separate people with separate origins. The earlier version is controlled by his father through a crown and gold bands; the later one was stranded on Planet Vampa as a child. Published heights differ too, at 239 cm in base form for the first against 208 cm for the second.
• Scale is the whole silhouette Broly is drawn to tower over everyone around him, and his Full Power Super Saiyan state reaches 300 cm in the published figures. That is why so much of what exists for him is a large fixed-pose statue.
• No battle armour Akira Toriyama's design notes explain the missing chest plate: Saiyan battle armour was standard issue for Frieza's forces, and Broly is not part of them. He wears a bare chest, white trousers, a red waist cloak and gold bands instead.

What this collection covers

The range is statue-heavy. Ichibansho and prize releases cover most of it, several tied to the 1993 and 1994 film designs, alongside Figuarts Zero pieces including an event-exclusive colour version. Articulated collectors get S.H.Figuarts in base and Full Power forms, builders get Figure-rise Standard kits, and a Dragon Ball STYLING candy-toy figure, a Fusion World starter deck and a Magnificent Collection set cover the small end.
