Belle (Disney)

Belle is the heroine of Disney's Beauty and the Beast (1991), directed by Gary Trousdale and Kirk Wise and voiced by Paige O'Hara. She is the bookish daughter of an inventor, Maurice, in an eighteenth-century French village where reading is thought odd.

What makes Belle stand out

• The reader in the village Belle is defined by books: she borrows from the lending shelf and reads while walking. Gaston, the village hunter, cannot name a thing she likes.
• Two silhouettes Nearly every figure picks one of two costumes — the blue village dress with the white apron, or the yellow ball gown of the ballroom sequence. Which one a release uses tells you which half of the film it sells.
• The rose is the clock The curse runs on an enchanted rose: when the last petal falls, the prince stays a beast. The castle staff live as household objects for the same reason, hence the candlesticks and teapots.

What this collection covers

The page is built from Banpresto's Q posket line, which renders characters in a chibi proportion: two Flower Style versions listed as Disney Characters and a Q posket Stories release in a country-style outfit. One POP UP PARADE entry is not Disney's Belle — it is Mamoru Hosoda's Belle from the 2021 film.
