AGP-X1 Alus Core Gundam

AGP-X1 Alus Core Gundam is the machine Alus flies in Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE (2019–2020), a Gundam-type mobile suit he built himself after studying Hiroto's Core Gundam. It serves with the One-Eyes, and with a Guard Eye at the controls the same suit is logged as the Eldora Core Gundam.

What it does in the story

Alus takes it out against Hiroto's Core Gundam II in episode 16 with both beam blades lit. During the One-Eyes' invasion of GBN he flies a version with an altered head design and hijacks Hiroto's Earth Armor, docking the stolen armour onto his own frame.

What makes it different

  • It is a copy made by analysis, not a stolen machine. Alus built the suit independently after thoroughly analysing Hiroto's PFF-X7 Core Gundam. The silhouette is deliberately its own, but the standards underneath are shared with the original.
  • It can wear its rival's armour. Because those standards match, the Alus Core Gundam docks with PLANETS System armour — the same parts Hiroto uses. That is how the Alus Earthree Gundam and the Fake ν Gundam are assembled from it.
  • The beam blade comes straight out of its hands. Energy is focused at each hand to generate a large blade fed by the suit's own generator, with output well above the Earthree Gundam's beam sabers. Its ranged arm is a Core Spray Gun that takes additional parts.
  • The head sensor says who is flying it. Under Alus's direct control the eye glows red. Hand the machine to a Guard Eye and the glow stops, which is the only visual cue that the Eldora Core Gundam is the same suit.

Frequently asked questions

1. Is the Alus Core Gundam the same suit as the Eldora Core Gundam?

Yes. One machine carries both names: Eldora Core Gundam is what it is called when a Guard Eye pilots it. The head sensor does not light up in that state, which is how the two are told apart on screen.

2. Why does it look different from the Core Gundam if the parts are interchangeable?

Alus designed the outer shell himself and kept only the internal standards. The proportions and head therefore read as a different machine while PLANETS armour still fits onto it.

3. What weapons does it carry on its own?

A pair of hand-generated beam blades and a Core Spray Gun, plus whatever a mounted armour set brings. The gun accepts add-on parts the same way the Core Gundam's does.
