AGE-IIMG Gundam AGE-II Magnum

AGE-IIMG Gundam AGEII Magnum is Kyoya Kujo's Gunpla in Gundam Build Divers (2018), built for Avalon on the frame of the AGE-2 Gundam AGE-2 Normal. The kit manuals say the AGEII name marks a machine meant to go beyond the AGE System.

What it does in the story

It opens the Gundam Build Divers Prologue and runs through the series as Avalon's lead machine. In episode 3 Kyoya hides it under outer parts shaped like an AGE-2 Dark Hound while investigating Mass-Divers on low-rank Serial Battles, then drops them and ends the fight with the EX Calibur.

What makes it different

• The wings hold close-combat funnels. Four F Funnels are blades built into the wings. They deflect beam shots, can be released as remote weapons in Phoenix Mode, and spread out to attack from several angles.
• The shield is more than half blade. The Shiguru Shield mounts on a forearm hardpoint with over half its body a cutting edge, so it works as a sword or as a defence the suit attacks from behind.
• Phoenix Mode turns the rifle into the nose. The Hyper DODS Rifle Magnum keeps the AGE-2 rifle's spinning drill beam and adds a bigger charge. As the nose unit it runs on a direct connection, trading energy for firepower.
• It can be dressed as another machine. The episode 3 outer parts copy the AGE-2 Dark Hound down to a DODS Lancer-shaped rifle shroud and shoulder anchors. Their head came from the Master Grade Dark Hound kit, so it sits large.
