Description
HG 1/144 RX-78-02 Gundam (Gundam The Origin Ver.) from "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin" — the Origin-version RX-78-02 with selectable early-type and mid-type configurations.
From "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin", the Origin-version RX-78-02 joins HG with a parts-selection system that lets you build either the asymmetric early type or the symmetric mid type. The early type carries a Gatling Gun on the left forearm, and the cuff shapes differ between the two arms; the mid type uses identical left and right forearms. The chest reproduces the early type's asymmetry with a Shoulder Magnum on the upper left and Vulcans on the upper right, while shared cover-block parts allow the symmetric mid-type chest to be built instead. Shoulder upper-surface parts and other selection points complete the configuration choice. Movable verniers in the calves can be displayed open via a hinged cover, and the toes are articulated. The included weapons attach to joints on the waist and shield.
