Description
Discover the unique Myojo, a wooden development of the Aichi D3A2 Val, designed during the Pacific War as Japan faced shortages of strategic materials. This innovative approach led to the creation of a dive-bomber trainer with a simplified wing planform and lengthened fuselage. Despite initial challenges with the prototype being overweight, a redesign paved the way for production by the small Matsushita company, which completed three examples before the war's end.
Valom's crafted kit renders this rare piece of aviation history. It includes a range of high-quality components to ensure an authentic and detailed model:
[Includes]:
- Resin engine and cowl
- 800KG bomb
- Photo-etched parts for the instrument panel, belts, engine pushrods, and dive flap arms
- Two vacuformed canopies
[Materials]:
- High-quality resin
- Photo-etched metal for intricate details
[Size]:
- Scale model with precise dimensions to ensure an accurate representation
The kit features recessed and fine panel lines, demanding some modeling skills but is suitable for those with a few model kits experience. It's a perfect opportunity to add a distinctive piece to your collection of IJN planes, filling a gap with something truly "different."
