Despite its innovative features, the Airacuda faced challenges due to the lack of powerful engines and the shifting priorities and funding in pre-war America. This kit pays homage to the Airacuda's ambitious design, equipped with 37mm cannons intended to neutralize incoming bombers before they could reach American shores. This particular edition features decals for the unarmed YFM-1B prototype, allowing for a unique representation of this aircraft. Please note, it's not necessary to add all the guns depicted in the instructions. The kit is enhanced with resin and photo-etched parts for a detailed finish.
