Description
Discover the historical marvel of the Italian Regia Aeronautica with our crafted IMAM Ro.37bis model kit. In the early 1930s, the Italian military aviation was graced by the IMAM Ro.1 reconnaissance and observation biplanes. Seeking advancement, the IMAM introduced a new biplane designed by Giovanni Galasso, leading to the production of the Ro.37 in 1934. Equipped with a Fiat A.30 in-line engine and an alternative Piaggio P.IX radial engine version known as the Ro.37bis, these aircraft became the backbone of Italy's observation and reconnaissance fleet until 1943. With a production total of 621 units, these aircraft first saw combat in the Italian invasion of Abyssinia, followed by significant roles in the Spanish Civil War and various theaters of the Second World War, excluding the Eastern Front and the English Channel.
Our Ro.37bis model kit brings history to your fingertips, featuring six sprues of grey styrene and one of clear canopy parts, alongside an array of resin and photo-etched details for an authentic building experience. The kit is complemented by a decal sheet offering four striking schemes, representing the aircraft's service across the globe. From the Grupo 4-G-12 of the Nationalist forces to the Italian machines based in Albania and the Aviazione Cobelligerante Italiana, each scheme tells a unique story of bravery and service.
- [Mold Color]: Grey, clear.
- [Includes]: Decals, photo-etched parts, resin parts.
Dive into the rich history of aerial warfare and bring to life a piece of Italian military heritage with our IMAM Ro.37bis model kit. Whether you're a seasoned modeler or new to the hobby, this kit promises a rewarding and educational building experience, celebrating the legacy of these remarkable aircraft and their contributions to aviation history.
