But the story doesn't end there - over 200 Panhard 178 vehicles were captured by the German army and used in the Wehrmacht under the designation Pz.spah.204 (f). Additionally, 43 vehicles were converted to railcars for BP42 armored trains, showcasing the versatility of this iconic vehicle.
