Introducing the new version of the highly detailed 1/72 scale Dornier Do 17Z by ICM! This kit replicates the Do 17Z-7 Night Fighter variant, complete with intricate engines and cockpit interior.
[At the beginning of the 1930s, the idea of a high-speed bomber that could outstrip contemporary fighters was born. One of the aircraft to be realized from this concept was the twin-engine bomber Do 17 designed by the German Dornier Flugzeugwerke company. Since the beginning of 1939, it was produced with a new `Waffenkopf` type nose part and air-cooled Bramo 323 Fafnir engines.
In the 1940s, the Do 177-7 Kauz I night fighters were produced. These planes had powerful nose-fired armament and served in the night fighter unit I/NJG 2 up to the beginning of 1941.]
