[With air-cooled Bramo 323 Fafnir engines, the Do 17Z-1 and Do 17Z-2 bombers were produced in limited quantities, with only about 500 made in total. These planes saw action in Polish and French campaigns, the Battle of Britain, and on the Eastern Front and Balkans.]
