Introducing the Kimikawa Maru Water Line Model Kit!
[The Kimikawa Maru, a Kamikawa Maru-Class cargo ship, was a key player in maritime history. Launched in 1937, this ship served on the Japan-New York route before being converted into an auxiliary seaplane tender by the IJN in 1941. Assigned to the 5th Fleet, she was later re-rated as a converted transport. Unfortunately, her journey came to an end in 1944 when she was sunk by the USS Sawfish at Cape Bojeador.]
This model kit features the distinctive rail system for seaplanes on the aft well deck and catapults that set the Kimikawa Maru apart.
