The addition of a carbon fiber hood equipped with a NACA duct and a 6-speed transmission from Getrag highlights its racing pedigree. Despite Japanese regulations capping power at 280PS, this powerhouse managed to deliver a maximum torque of 40.0kg-m, leading its class among JDM cars of the era. Production of this iconic car came to a halt in August 2002 due to new gas emission laws, marking the end of an era.
