METAL STRUCTURE KAITAI-SHOU-KI 1/60 RX-93 ν Nu Gundam from "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack" — Tamashii Nations' most ambitious recreation of the hero mecha, standing approximately 370mm tall and built from roughly 2,000 parts in ABS, PVC, and die-cast composite. This premium pre-painted figure by Tamashii Nations, Bandai's collector-grade brand, features full-body armor deployment exposing the internal frame and dual LED illumination in both the figure and display base.
Metal Structure Kaitai-Shou-Ki is Tamashii Nations' top-tier line for high-mass mecha display pieces, and the RX-93 ν Gundam was its inaugural release in December 2019 — the title that defined what the brand could do. The line's name translates roughly to "build through dismantling": every external panel is engineered to lift, slide, or open in stages, exposing the inner skeletal frame and component layout that mass-produced model kits abstract away. After successive sellouts and demand exceeding initial allocations, this 2026 release is the figure's second reissue, with first-batch units scheduled to ship in November 2026.
For "Char's Counterattack" devotees, the ν Gundam's place in the Universal Century is hard to overstate: the climactic Amuro Ray vehicle of the 1988 Yoshiyuki Tomino film, and the design template for every Hi-ν, Ka-Signature, and post-CCA interpretation that followed. This figure represents the most committed 1/60 recreation of that mobile suit Bandai has ever produced.
