Week Review 1 ： The Great Astrologer - figma Mona "Mirror Reflection of Doom" ver.

For a first draft, I'm just dipping my toes in the water today. I'm not a fan of lengthy, wall-to-wall text; it feels like I'm reading an academic paper, and it's a one-way ticket to Snoozeville. So, let's keep it snappy with images and short bursts of text. Of course, if this column survives, who knows? I might switch things up. After all, the future's not set in stone, and no one's making any promises.

But let's cut to the chase. For this little experiment, I'm keeping it simple. Let me think... I've decided to kick things off with "The Great Astrologer"!

Genshin Impact!

In my column, I'm sneaking in a bit of my personal bias for the first time!

Mona! I've got a soft spot for hydro characters!

She's perfect for articulated figures! By bending at just the right angles, you can capture her airy grace. Using soft materials in key areas ensures a nice balance too.

For accessories, we've got the "Astrolabe: Skyward Atlas", "Astrology effect pieces", "Hydro illusion effect pieces + stand", and a "wallet". Seeing that "wallet", I had to pause for a second. Does Mona really have money?

Kudos for making the "Astrolabe: Skyward Atlas" openable! Thumbs up!

And they didn't just slap on a coat of white inside; they actually crafted a design! Hats off to that!

Checking out the back, it feels super detailed and refined. Kudos!

I've gotta admit, compared to the effect pieces, I'm really vibing with this Skyward Atlas accessory. But for the love of the game, please no more Skyward Atlas drops for me!

When it comes to facial expressions, this figure comes with a "glaring face", "surprised face", and "distressed face".

Out of the three, my personal favorite has got to be the third one.

The distressed face paired with the wallet. Classic Mona being... well, Mona! LOL! 😂
