Description
1/32 Imaginary Skeleton Triceratops from "Imaginary Skeleton" — the second skeletal model in the line, capturing dinosaur motion in fossil form.
Triceratops takes the second slot in the Imaginary Skeleton series, a fixed-pose kit roughly 23 cm long built from the latest biological theory. The pose captures a moment of motion frozen in bone, with horns lowered and front legs braced in the dynamic intimidation stance verified by recent research. Plant-eating teeth are reproduced with the irregular grater-like alignment characteristic of the species, and finer anatomy such as the dental battery structure is rendered into the molds. The frill carries delicate cracking from stress fractures and the tracks of blood vessels, and the central spine has a recess to mark assembly orientation. The plant-detailed base lets you display Triceratops in groups or stage a confrontation alongside the separately sold Imaginary Skeleton Tyrannosaurus. A booklet supervised by dinosaur researcher Kyoichi Tomita is bundled.
