The Government Reconstruction Committee developed it, and the New United Nations Earth operates it as a prototype assault suit ahead of the invasion.

What it does in the story

Shagia uses it across North America to gather intelligence before the New UN Earth forces move, then to hunt the Freeden and its Gundams. Between fights he stands it on his brother Olba's Ashtaron in mobile armour mode, letting the pair travel without spending the Virsago's propellant.

What makes it different

The main gun is in the belly.
The mega sonic cannon fires either one concentrated beam or a spread of diffused beams across several targets. Recoil is heavy enough that the suit anchors itself on its strike claws before firing.

The claws reach further than the arms.
The forearms extend, and the strike claws tear armour open at a distance.
