MBF-P03D Gundam Astray Blue Frame D

MBF-P03D Gundam Astray Blue Frame D is a close-combat variant of the Blue Frame flown by Gai Murakumo in the novel Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny Astray B (C.E. 73). Gai built it in Ame-no-Mihashira's factory for Serpent Tail with one opponent in mind: Dante Gordigiani's Astray Noir.

What it does in the story

The suit was assembled specifically to fight the Astray Noir, so most Second L and Second G parts went back to original Blue Frame components and newly designed parts filled the gaps.
