It is a general-purpose testbed built from the GN-000 0 Gundam, named for the figure of Justice on the tarot card, and flown by Ruido Resonance.

What it does in the story

Astraea's service is weapons testing rather than armed intervention. Ruido flew the Proto GN Sword trials and the first full-power GN Launcher shot, which Chall Acustica fired and which overloaded the weapon. It later fired on the Gundam Plutone to test that machine's composite armour, and 874 used it to destroy four HRL Fantons in 36 seconds.

What makes it different

It exists to test other machines' weapons.
Hardpoints on the forearms and legs take experimental gear fed by GN Condensers, and the results went into the third-generation Gundams.
